Our Story

New Horizons Church is an independent church plant located in South Charleston, WV. We were chartered in 2020. Our roots are found in a house church, where we grew and developed our prayerful commitment to growing as a vibrant community of Christ-followers.

Led by Pastor Dr. Bill Tanzey, we are a congregation united by faith, rooted in Scripture, and called to love our neighbors as ourselves. From our humble beginnings, we have grown into a thriving community dedicated to worship, service, and the spreading of the Gospel — locally in South Charleston and around the world through our missions partners.
